Open Carpark, Office, Warehouse & Production Line at 7:30am 😴

Production Meeting discussing & planning:

Inbound component delivery schedules / call offs,

Outbound System delivery schedules

Company order book

What model variants need to be produced that day /week.

Staffing requirements

Review Previous days production

Review, edit & annote prototype / developmental system autocad drawings 🤓

Order / call off component re-stocking with respective suppliers 🤳

📞 Answer inbound technical questions received via phone, email, LinkedIn etc.

Afternoon: 1pm – 6.30pm

Lunch

🔩 Decommission & make ready training room systems installed during the training course delivered on Monday. Also prepare training room & learning materials in preparation for the next installation training course.

Technical support to engineers on site surveying or installing systems.

Generate / review technical literature within proposed new marketing & sales material.

Specify a multi system set up for a quotation on a commercial property, referring to Cibse guide G in the absence of hot water consumption data.

Dissemble, fix & partially re-assemble 🤨the broken binding machine

Always a varied, never a dull day with my responsibilities incorporating pretty much everything from Product Development, BOM & product Costings, Product Testing and Certification, Component and Supplier Sourcing, Placing & following up orders with the latter, Stock Management, Technical Support from Over the Phone to Onsite Fault Diagnosis and Rectification Measures, Equipment Installation, Delivering Installation Training Course Development, Travelling Nationally and Internationally to Distributors for Training, Installations & Sales Support, Office Management.
